USA Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2012 season have been completed..
WHAT TO DO PRIOR TO TRYOUTS
It is required by USAV that each player be registered with the Iowa Region prior to try-outs. Click here to register with the Iowa Region. Once you complete the registration process, you will need to indicate 'UNDECIDED' under Club Affiliation (this will be changed later upon acceptance to a club team).
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU TO JVBC TRYOUTS
- Print and bring a copy of the USAV IOWA Region Membership Card (part of the online registration process)*
- Complete, print and bring a copy of the Medical History Form (part of online registration process)*
- Johnston Volleyball Club Tryout form-fill out and bring to JVBC tryouts
- If trying out for a JVBC National team, please return this National Team Tryout Form
* The first two items listed will be necessary for ANY tryout you choose to attend.
DID YOU KNOW...
Iowa Regionals falls on during Spring Break for most metro schools? All JVBC teams are scheduled to be playing so please plan accordingly! All JVBC team members will be REQUIRED to play at Regionals (both Saturday and Sunday)!
2012 Iowa Regional Dates (NQ=Non-Qualifying, Q=Qualifying):
March 17 & 18:15u NQ & Q, 16u NQ & Q, 17u NQ & Q, 18u NQ & Q
March 24 & 25:14u NQ & Q, 13u NQ & Q, 12u NQ & Q, 11u NQ, 10u NQ (if not enough 10u teams, they will play with 11u).
